BIL is an free and open science, art, and technology conference organized next to TED (an exclusive, invite only conference). BIL is about making interesting ideas available to all. More information on BIL at the website: http://bilconference.com

The BIL shirt is made up of the descriptions of all the talks scheduled at the first BIL. It shows how the BIL community is simply a collective of people with interesting ideas.

Our first shirt has finally been pressed. The idea for this shirt came from P. David Romei who is a friend, veteran, scholar, poet and leader. He lives his motto: "To free oneself is to free the world." We dedicate this shirt in his honor because he demonstrates daily that one person with courage and integrity can make our world a better place.

Barcamp TX

BarCamp is an ad-hoc technology gathering for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction with attendees. We organized BarCampTX in Downtown Bryan (more information here http://www.barcamptexas.com)

We designed these shirts for BarCampTX as a way to show that conference shirts don't have to be boring. The typical BarCamp shirt has the BarCamp logo on the front and sponsor logos on the back. We created a grungy, interesting design that features the sponsor logos and text description of BarCamp.

We are out of these and do not plan to print any more. But BarCampTX is a yearly event so expect a new design at the next one.
